I have a very sick little pup and had to stay overnight in Knoxville while he was being watched at UT Vet Hospital. When I booked the hotel - I didn't realize how far out it was. I just read Knoxville/West and figured it would be around West Town Mall area. This is my fault and I was in a hurry to pack, book a hotel and get my dog to Knoxville. The guy at the front desk was very friendly! I booked for 2 nights because I work remotely and needed the internet all day Monday. UT wound up releasing my dog Monday afternoon so I left.

I knew I wouldn't get a refund on that night, but I was okay with that because of how much it cost and the fact that I did use the room/internet all day until about 5pm. The internet signal was great (which was very important). There were plenty of channels to watch on the tv and the rooms have been nicely updated (well everything but that horrible print - but hey - that's just an opinion lol). They have a very nice pool area too. I was right by the pool entrance and there were people using the pool rather late - but was able to ignore them with a fan that I purchased at the nearest walmart.

He seemed genuinely interested in helping us. I asked for the best available rate. He gave us a discount on the room which was less than what I expected to pay, based on what I saw online. He offered information about the area and gave us a hand- written map with various retail stores and restaurants in case we were hungry. The room was clean and properly equipped.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. When you are driving from Florida to Michigan, all you hope for is a good hotel where you can get a restful sleep, to wake up refreshed and ready to complete your drive home. When we told him we were planning to do some Shopping at the Turkey Creek shops, he gave us, without us having to ask, a map of the stores, he highlighted the route from the hotel to the shops and and recommend and highlighted a place for us to have dinner, which we did dine at.

We had stayed here a few years ago while passing through and they have done major updates to the hotel. The location is great, it's right off the highway, it's close to food and shopping, but not on a busy street, and if you hadn't seen the full lot, you would never have known that it was that full, because it was quiet. I was stranded for several days while waiting for vehicle repairs, and was NOT looking forward to being alone in a strange city so far from home. However, I was pleasantly surprised to feel safe in a clean and friendly environment, with hotel staff who were personable and helpful. Extra towels, coffee, map directions, a burnt out lightbulb.. I needed, the staff accommodated me with smiles and options. I will be sure to let my employer know about the positive experience I had here and will highly recommend this hotel to them for their future needs.

The owners and staff do everything to make sure your stay is exactly as you would like it to be. The rooms are large and very clean. The furniture and appliances are newer and well taken care of.
